Dive Club

Big Squid Dive Club

The Big Squid dive club is relaxed and friendly. There are no membership fees and there are plenty of social activities and gatherings, not all dive related.

You are welcome to join us regardless of training level or agency.

On the first Tuesday of every month we meet up for our Dive Club Social Night at the Railway Tavern in Clapham at 7.00pm
Just call us on 020 7627 0700 and someone will meet you when you arrive for the first time and introduce you to everyone.

This amazing video by Colin Garrett shows the beauty of life beneath the surface at Chesil Beach in Portland, Dorset
Its quite a challenge to get down the steep pebble bank to the water edge and back up afterwards but its really worth it.
Chesil is best dived on an easterly wind as it then sheltered.

If you are finding your self with time on your hands and are dreaming of the day when you get into the water to dive why not use the time to start the training for your next level online.

The great thing about this is that when we are allowed to get back into the water, your theory will have been completed leaving you with just the confined water or Open water sections to complete.

Big Squid offer a range of eLearning courses catering for beginners up to dive master and assistant instructor.

Among the courses you can take online are

Open Water Diver
Advanced Open Water
Rescue Diver
Dive master
Assistant Instructor
Dive Theory
Dry Suit
Equipment Specialist
Enriched Air Nitrox
Digital Under Water Photography
Reactivate

The courses are designed both for tablets and for PC.

You can find a full list of eLearning dive courses here www.bigsquid.co.uk/courses/elearning/

Please do contact Big Squid if you wish to get started on any of these courses and make the most of your time.
